2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dead Speedo

Well, I was going to my son's football game last night when the speedo went dead and the brakes and ABS lights came on. All the other gauges are working, anybody had this problem, hope there is an easy fix, please advise

Several who have had this trouble reported the cause was a faulty speed sensor in the rear differential housing.
