I just put a new vp44 in 3 days ago. Ran great. So today I pierced the wire. First run good take off, 2 gear rubber. But boost was down to 35. Then 3/4 way down the q mile it lost all power and died. Pressure never below 6#'s

p0251

p0252.

Now dead.

Any ideas?:{ :{ :{ :{ :{ :{

I have it out except for it is stuck to the gear. It also sounds real nasty when you barr the motor over. I am thinking that it seized up and sheared the key. I may have to take out the radator and intercooler to hammer on the shaft.

nope I had bought the pump from some one who doesn't have a 24v anymore and had never used it. It is a reman.

and I just sodered the wire besides.

At least they are easy to change. Provided I can get the gear off.

Tomarrow I will go get a torch and try to heat up the gear. I have now pulled out the radeator ,intercooler and timeing cover to get room to work.

BTW this 01 cover still has a hole for the kdp. I had figure it was fixed by now????
