I called the dealer for a new MAP just now and they are calling it the "boost sir pressure sensor" or somthing along those lines.



Am I right to assume this is the same thing. Just want to make sure I am not orering the wrong thing.

Maybe he was saying "boost air pressure sensor".

Mine went out at 110,000 and it was referred to as boost pressure sensor. I took the truck to Auto Zone and had them pull the code which I believe was PO236. When that thing goes it really stinks, darn truck was acting like a 4 banger rice burner. From about half throttle to the floor I had no get up and go just real slooooow accleration.
