Anyone know what the dealerships charge for a new set of Sport Lights?

I just had a bad experience with an aftermarket set on Ebay - so looking at options...

OOOPPPppps guys - my bad!

I had headlites on the brain - but really meant TAIL LIGHTS!

Sorry for the brain-fade - Alzheimer's strikes again...

I've already installed my Sport Light headlights, and they are fine - DEPOT brand, like a number of guys here are also successfully running.

My Ebay problem was with some aftermarket "ALTEZZA" sport-style tail lights that were advertised as being for my year truck, with others available for 3rd generation trucks - the price was great - tho' shipping cost was about triple actual cost

ANYWAY, when the lights arrived, instead of being for my year truck (as I had clearly specified with my info), they were apparently actually for a 3rd generation truck - and obviously would not fit or match the wiring on my truck.

SOOOoo, I am forced to eat about $35 in shipping cost in order to (hopefully!) get a $48 refund - I certainly do NOT want to gamble on a supposedly correct set at the ridiculous shipping the seller charges... :(

Here's a pointer to the Ebay item, note the seller. So far, at least, they seem speedy and willing enough to take care of my problem - but will assume NO responsibility for the error - so *I* am left to pay for THEIR mistake...

Learn from my experience, and beware! ;) :(

There are quite a few ebay retailers that list all 3 truck models and start with the 1500 year the 3rg gen rolled out. Apparently they don't know that DCX redesigned the 1500 about a year prior to the 'real' trucks...

YUP - that's pretty much what I figure as well - and usually watch closely in such cases - but in THIS one, they were quite specific in the year spread, and displayed 2 different light styles - so I THOUGHT I was safe...
