I'm trying this post a second time. I appreciate the response to my last post, but the subject was obvious misleading.

I am familiar with the adjustable pedals and want them on my new truck. When I went to order the truck the dealer said that the factory cannot supply the adjustable pedals on the 05s until later in the year. He didn't know why. He thought maybe they had a techical or delivery problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Not unusual for options to be on restriuction at the beginning of the model year. Suppliers take summer breaks, they may have component issues, labor problems, or any number of issues that will delay shipment of parts to a vehicle manufacturer.

Having formerly worked in an auto manufacturing plant, I could not have said it better. More often than realized, supplier issues can delay parts, options, or can shut the entire plant down. Sounds like it could be a component issue or quality issue, but could be any of the above.
