Greetings all.

I have family in Virginia that is trying to buy a Cummins powered Ram. They have found a truck that they want, but the dealer said they will not sell it on the "Employee Choice" deal. I guess they want full sticker. Has anyone ever run into this before?

Thanks in advance.

Ken.

Find another dealer. After that sort of attempt at extortion, why would anyone buy a truck from them anyway?

I had the same initial reaction. But now I am starting to think the dealer simply may not be aware of the program.

I don't think that the dealer can refuse to. Have him get his DRM on the phone while you are there and have the program explained to him.

Zone Rep

Just politely go the the receptionist at the dealer and ask them who there Zone Rep is and ask for there phone #. Then call and let them know the problem.

they can refuse if they want, BUT it is in POOR taste, you know?

I would not buy there of course, there are TOO many dealers that would do the EC, of course we do, you know

tomeygun's right-they are all independently owned and operated-so find another dealer! There is one in every major town, and in a few minor towns, and the metropolises have several...

With the small allocations that some dealers have, I can understand wjy they would not want to give away a truck that they can sell for a higher profit on the street. They might order one for you though. Keep looking.
