I posted recently that when going over some rough road features at 65+ Big Green occasionally would have uncontrollable wheel hop and shudder in the front end until I slowed down and got it under control. Very scary. I believe the problem was the front Edelbrocks lost the ability to keep the tires planted due to the weight of the 3500. I did some looking and called Skyjacker and they have a dual front shock mount for the Hydro which allowed me to put two on each front side- one in the coil spring and the other outside using a new bracket. Red bracket, White shock, Blue boot- real patriotic. Guys at Pro Trucks in Chesapeake put them on and a set of Eagle 034 Aluminum Duallies that look great. Ride is firm up front but not harsh- no problems barnstorming any rough feature I could find- I know I got it beat because I drove over these same features at very mature speeds walking away from a customized PowerStroke with full lift kit that stomped on it just as I did when a car moved out of the left lane- he got burnt and tried again and got burned again. All did well. The shocks are standard length and my truck is not lifted. Edelbrocks will stay on the rear for now. Thanks for all the tips.
