Two years ago had 1 episode of death wobble. Put on Luke's Link. Problem solved until tonight. Doing 60mph hit a rough spot and truck started shaking violently again. Truck is a 97, 140K, less than 5K on new bilsteins, ball joints new along with axle u-joints. Any thoughts on how to prevent reoccurence. Thanks

Dont the lukes links need to be periodicly adjusted? Grab a friend and climb under the truck again and have the other person rock the wheel back and forth and look for the loose area.

Where is the caster on your FE? You can try to do an adjustment on the FE by marking the existing eccentric location and turning the cam on lower trailing arm CW on drivers side and CCW on pass. side. Try moving about 15 deg. from existing position. Be sure to adjust equally side to side. The nuts are tight and are NY-locked style nuts. Just loosen them enough to move the inner bolt/excentric.

Remember that you are pushing the lower portion of the axle forward. I'm referencing the cam movement as viewed from the outside of truck. If you don't have excessive movement in FE parts this is a worth while fix. Good luck, Mike
