I realy need my truck fixed. i have put all new tires on it rebuilt the whole front end with a alighnment i used all the bd diesel sutff to .

I had the death wobble on my old 96. . scared the shizz outta me... happened at 70mph too. .

Ended up being bad front shocks, never came back after that.

I`d check your bushings on the front control arms too. . if you can move em by hand just a little, theyre bad. Typically 125k miles... theyre bad.

good luck

ya i replaced the balljoints and all tierods 15000 miles ago and the shocks bd track bar and steering thing 3 days ago then had it allined and yet still getting the death wobble i think im going to try the T steering setup and the poly bushings

A separating tire tread or sidewall will flop like crazy! Look for bumps in the sidewalls (inboard and outboard sides).

Ya i put that and the new bd track bar on at the same time. still does it startes about 30mph if i hit the right bump or crack in the road it all over with. has anybody done the steering conversion on here the y to the t setup. i just realy need my truck and i just cant seem to keep it together.

I have done the conversion but I only had the DW once and it was long ago, before the conversion. The parts for the T steering are heavier and, IMO, make more sense that the Y steering. Did the alignment guys give you the right amount of castor? I don't think all truck will adjust far enough especially if they have leveling kits.
