Hi together

I installed a new BD Converter, a new Front Band and a TransGo Shiftkit. After 5000M of use I dropped the Pan for checkup and found a lot if debris in it. Looks like sugar/salt crystals. Not a chip of blinking metall, nothing on the magnetic drainbolt.
I showed the pan to a mechanic in village who is familiar with Jeep/Dodge and he told me that it is debris from Bands. Maybe because they're new.

can someone tell me that this is a possible reason for the debris?

thanks Ozy

Got a picture? Hard to tell without seeing what you have. If it is sluffing band material without burning that is not a good sign. Possibly could have been something in the TC that has washed out.

Give a pic this evening from the home PC.
Fluid was perfect, not burnt, bright red like new from the container, changed it anyway including new filter.
Petronas ATF+4 was and is used.

I had similar grit in my pan after 1/1. 5k miles after my build from DTT. They told me to expect some of it, and highly recommended a fluid change at 1k (to prevent contaminated solenoids and sensors) which I ran a bit past. I have not had the amount of debris since, very little in fact. I would monitor the fresh fluid, before borrowing trouble.

Pics of the pan

Thanks, thats what i wanted to hear that a new built Trans have some debris, i'll check mine after another 2000M.
Expect someone tells me real bad news about the pics here.

To the pics, when i opened the pan, there were all of these "sugar" crystals, they turned grey when i rubbed with the finger over them.

Look like flakes of aluminum or steel that washed out of the crevices. Relatively normal for the most part. If it cleans up on the next fluid change nothing to worry about.
