When I let off the go-pedal... I get a chatter from the trans hump... not a grinding chatter, more like a leaf rake being skipped on concrete... . happens in any gear. . but quits immediately when I push in the clutch pedal... anybody have any ideas? Could it be a broken clutch spring?

ok... I got my oem clutch replaced with a South Bend Con OFE, yet I'm still having the chatter problem... if not slightly worse. Clutch has been in almost 2 months now. I adjusted the valves weekend before last, so it shouldn't be that. Only thing I can think of is something inside the transmission... I'm running Amsoil Sychromesh... had that in for about 17,000 miles now... . just want to look for simple things first before tearing into the transmission.
