RASP vs. FASS

After researching the forums here i have decided on Auto meter Ultra lite gauges, Mechanical fuel pressure, and boost and a full sweep electric pyro. all mounted in a pod from geno's. What do you guys think?

my trans. temp. guage and boost guage have held up fine so far. But I have had acouple little problems with the EGT guage, which Autometer took care of.

Other than that their great.

One didn't work right outta the box (which they replaced) and then the replacement after about 2 weeks crapped out (replaced again by them). The one they sent me after that has worked fine for 2-3 years now.

I have had the same set up in my truck for almost a year with no problems. I love the look and the performance. IMO, the mechanical fuel gauge is the way to go.

An inline isolator under the hood can use antifreeze between the isolator and gauge. Alternatively you can add a needle valve inline under the hood and run diesel to the gauge. The valve is a good method to smooth out the gauge needle as well.

I am using the needle valve (which is barely open) and running diesel into the cab. Using a 300 psi hose. Should not have a problem with this set up.
