Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Decode Trans Information

So i recently purchased this truck, and in the process of learning the history on it. The service manual talks about the trans code just above the drivers side pan sealing area. I was trying to determine if this was still the factory trans in it, so i thought this might be a good shot. Does anyone know how to decode it? I have the service manual, but it doesn't speak of it.

I believe 3124 is the date code.
