2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Decoding VIN's

Looking at a 2001 CTD extended(quad?) cab. Are there any numbers or letters in the VIN which would indicate how this truck is equipped? Specifically, since we plow snow, I'm interested in a plow prep designation and the 241HD transfer case designation. Thanks
