Hello all,

tried the search, but didn't find any info on the deep transmission pan.

What are the benefits of a deep transmission pan -> more fluid, lower temperatures, extended life of transmission and ... ?

What are y'alls experiences with the deep and double deep transmission pans out there?

Any info is welcome :)

I am still running a stock pan with my setup. I do not tow on a regular basis nor do I participate in racing or sled pulling yet and my trans and fluid is okay according to the shop that performs my trans maintenance. My max trans temp with the probe in the "hot" line has been 165*. If your typical operation is more severe than mine, you may benefit from the additional fluid.

I ran one on my '91 - ran about 5 degrees cooler around town, but NO improvement when towing or working hard - you'd probably be far ahead to get an external transmission cooler instead if reducing transmission temps is your goal...

The cast aluminum pans help give the case support against flex. I have noticed that in stop and go traffic that the temperature is slightly cooler, but the big advantage is that they stiffen the case.
