Any Grouse or Quail Hunters Here????

 I hate deer!!! Look what this monstrous deer did to my truck last night! Well, the insurance company is my new best friend cause it will be fixed tomorrow.

I'll bring the salad and bread:D :D :D . Here in the central valley we don't have the problem with deer in the road, its people that want to play chicken with truck and 5th wheel:mad:

Time to install Amtrak horns. .

Sorry about your truck... ... ...

Rick

Actually guys there wasnt much left of that deer, it actually made the "splat" noise. I heard it. But my truck is back together today so now Im happy.

I will post you a picture of mine when I get them back and can scan one. We hit one in SD a couple weeks ago. $8k in damage. Weekend in SD waiting to a new raditor, intercooler, fan, fan clutch... etc. At 75 mph that deer was jelly. Should be back from the body shop in a couple days and my Denver off road:D front bumper will be here the end of the week or beginning of next. That factory front bumper did more damage than would have occured without it.

Feel your pain

Ted

Man Ted, great aim!! You centered that thing!! Sorry to hear abut your truck though, that is a lot of damage. Anyone have pictures of elk or moose aftermath?

Friend of mine hit a fish in a supercub once at 2000ft in SE Alaska. Scared an eagle so bad the eagle dropped the salmon, the fish hit the wing putting a large dent in the leading edge. Talk about a freak accident. Try explaning fish guts on your plane to the insurance agent.

Hey Wirenut..... I hate that you messed up your Dodge! That sucks.

Is there any chance you could have hit the deer that those tree huggers let out of the Jeep? That would be the only postive side of the whole ordeal!!!:D (see post in OTHER " Any hunters here? Seen the new Jeep ad? " and it will make more sense)

The deer must be softer than people. When I lived in Las Vegas I seen two people vs trucks within a weeks time. First was on Pecos east of Lamb two people were hit by a 70 model Ford f-250. The hood was bent about half way to the windsheild. The motor was sitting crooked like it busted a mount or two. Second was when I was riding in my friends Wrangler on the strip by the Luxor. A guy in a Nissian 4x4 PU flew past us and I saw this guy fly though the air landed about 200 ft from the impact. The truck was crushed. Look like it hit a telephone pole. Both front wheels were turned into each other.

The first was a middle age couple and they died together. The second just came from his daughter's wedding and was tring to cross the street to buy her a gift. His daughter watched him die. He had a slight pulse when I got to him, but it got weaker and weaker and then nothing. I was an EMT at the time and there was nothing to be done.
