Where does one find meanings for some of the NASA vernacular found on this forum? I'm new to Ram talk. EVIC. AGS. BCM. And on and on......

EVIC. (Electronic Vehicle Information Center) The one in the center of the drivers cluster.

AGS (Active Grill Shutter)

BCM (Body Control Module)

All found in a couple minutes with Google search. RAM xxxx

There is about 20 modules available on a 15 model,they all have their Acronyms as do MANY sensors.You might want to buy a factory service manual to guide you.I was going to type them all out but with my typing skills and speed...........

Thanks folks. I did a Bing search and it came up with lots of things. I narrowed it down a bit on some. It's just spinning my head trying to keep up with threads when I do not know WTH folks are referring to. BN to Ram has put me here so just need to learn. IGTC FCA in an attempt to FAM for the ones they sent to PDF links. Some are 800+ pages long. I've been using the EVIC now for a couple of weeks and it is a wealth of info. I'm searching for the best device to read EGT 1 & 2. Looks like some of the Smarty or ScanGauge can do it as well as some of the tuners.
