Deflecta-Shield Window Mouldings

I may need to remove the window mouldings from my truck to install different mirrors. They are attached with the 3 M adhesive supplied. Anybody have a good method to do this and save the paint? HELP Thanks

I would guess that the removal process would be the same as it would for body moldings and emblems. Heat and a steady hand with a blade should take them off, and wd-40, Goo-Gone or similar should clean up the remaining residue. I would be careful with using any solvent on the plastic deflectors though... might discolor them.

USe fishing line and Goo gone or Goof off. Don't use ANY type of "blade" IMHO.
