I have had my gauges now for almost 3 weeks and i am glad i have got them - thanks Liberator Performance. Today i noticed something different though and i think it might be due to the "defuel".

I got done hauling some mulch and i had some left over chips in the bed that i wanted to blow out by going down the highway. I ran down one exit on RT 15 - the normal 20 lbs of boost my truck is limited to so it is fine. I exit and then on the on ramp - with no traffic behind me - i decide to see how much boost i can build by holding the brake and stomping the go pedal - maybe 5 lbs. Ever since then i can not get the boost gauge to go above 12-13 lbs. Also i noticed higher egts. The lights are on in for the COMP, so i assume it is working. The truck runs good just as before but the boost is not there. Is this from the defuel mode i have read about, or a turbo problem? I have driven the truck 2 times since, so i don't know if i have to cycle the ignition more.

Oh yea, i have a Goerend triple disk TC and valve body that should be here this coming week Oo. So i am hoping to get this issue fixed before putting in the goods from Iowa.

I would not let Libertor work on my gocart let alone my TRUCK. Thay put a new cluch in my mom truck. When it got home I chenged the oil and 1/2 the trany bolt need tightened up.

sorry to hear about your luck. I got good service with the install of my FASS and gauges. Neat clean work. I was not gonna have them put my TC and VB in - they are not a transmission shop. In my opinion an accessory shop.

Back to my original question - what is the cause of only hitting 10 lbs of boost after i built boost by flooring the go pedal and holding the brake at the same time? Less than a minute before the boost held 20 lbs all day long. Is it a defuel issue or some other computer "limp mode" my truck is in? Will it go away after i drive it a few more times? Or could it be a turbo on the way out the door?
