the torque management defueling in first gear is killing me. 3 surges then it goes. anybody using the bd rad or have any solutions. seems to effect the 2wd autos mainly.

Thanks,Kenny:{

From everything i've heard, the BD RAD will solve your defueling problem very well. I have one sitting in my closet now, but I'm waiting for a billet output shaft before i put the RAD in. With 4wd, the defueling is probably the only thing keeping my stock output shaft alive, since it won't let me build much more than 10lbs boost at the line.

I don't get three surges, just makes it hard for me to build boost at the line, then it hesitates (or falls on it's face) once when i go.

Chris

On edit, I just noticed that it looks like you still have a stock transmission. If so, i think that's probably a lot of the reason your defueling 3 times. I rode in a truck the other day that had BD2's, TST comp and a stock transmission, and his truck defueled really really bad. I think it's because with a stock converter, your rpm's climb really fast in realation to your wheel speed, and the ECM thinks something is wrong. That's just my guess on that, given some of the things i've read.

If you are still running a stock transmission, you better start reading up on the transmission threads (and wars). A stock one most likely isn't going to last long with the extra power you've got.

Good luck.

thanks for the info. I figured the converter was causing some of the problem in first gear. I lock the convertor up in the rest of the gears. Kenny
