Delayed Shift - Cycle Fuel Pedal Solves Problem

I have a 2003 Dodge 2500 with automatic transmission, occasionally there will be a delayed shift waiting until 2500-2600 RPM to shift under partial throttle / fuel pedal.
If I cycle the fuel pedal thru full travel (push fuel pedal to floor momentarily), then the normal shift points are restored.
Any ideas??

Probably need some valve body work done. The TV valves are known issues with age and wear.
