I just posted a few pictures of a CFM+ intake I installed and the post is gone.

Maybe there are rules I'm not aware of ??? It was titled " CFM+ intake "

you aren't a dealer or anything like that are you?

and also were you soliciting a product?

if it was just a post with a picture and a review it should not have been deleted. normally when the mods delete a post you will receive a pm telling you why.

nope, wasn't soliciting at all and I'm not affiliated with the company either. Just wanted to show everyone my new install.

I didn't get an email or PM about it being deleted.

I'll post again here and see what happens... ... this is basically what i posted

thought I'd post a couple pics of my recently installed CFM intake. I think with any intake it would be a little hard to tell any performance difference. I haven't driven a lot since installing it so, I really can't say if it made a difference.

I do know that the air flow is much smoother and it's heat absorption is less than any metals intakes used so it should keep the air a bit cooler. And... . it just looks pretty cool ;-)

I looked around and I can find no record of a post like that from you. Any time we delete a post (which isn't often) we move a copy to the moderators forum and there are no posts there and nothing noted regarding you. Did you actually see the post after you made it? Maybe you hit post just as I was shutting down the server one of the times this week and the post didn't actually hit the site.

Thanks Steve. It's not a big deal, I just wanted to be sure I didn't violate any forum rules.

I did see the post after I made it and 10 mins. later it was gone ??? Maybe it was a forum burp ?

For those interested... . I went for a drive today to try any notice anything with the new intake. What I think I've noticed was... .

slightly lower EGT's entering a freeway. With the stock intake, I'd easily hit 1250 degrees if I did let up. With this intake, the temperature go up a bit slower and it doesn't want to go over 1200 easily.

I'm thinking I'm not getting the boost I did with the stock though. I believe it's rising as quick but, I may have lost a 1psi or 2. I've seen my gauge peg 31 almost 32psi before but, it stops dead at 30 now.

I'm still learning about diesels so maybe my findings are nothing? I like the intake and believe it will be a benefit in the long run. I just need to learn more on what to do next to increase my HP. I'm still waiting on Marco for a 07 Smarty update.
