Deletes

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Dodge fargo power wagon w300 1963 - convertion to diesel?

2nd Gen 6spd to ZF 8HP95 conversion

Not in this forum. Look somewhere else for deleting. Sorry
And my advice is strictly against it, sooner or later you'll have a brick, not street legal at all, no workshop will touch it, no manufacturer support, not possible to sell to a dealer anymore.
Do - not - do - it.

You're asking the wrong things in here! The EPA has spoken very clearly about this and doing son makes your truck OFF ROAD ONLY vehicle! GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe discussing emission deletes on any forum today has become taboo because of the EPA is monitoring them.

Try looking at some of the other forums for diesel trucks and a message like this usually comes up. "Discussing of diesel deleting is against forum rules."

Just saying

I am a fan of this....

We don't need the unwanted attention of this on the forum! There was a time long ago before emissions became standard and now any modification voids the ability for the truck to be driven on the road! Even thou your state may not have diesel emissions, it's a federal regulation the affect the US and Canada the same. Others forums have stated that any type of emission defeating talk will not take place! TDR should put the same policy in effect. Please don't encourage these types of questions on the forum. If you want to help, take it off of TDR and exchange an email address. The EPA monitors these forums and at any time these type of questions could be a setup. The OP on this thread hasn't replied to anything written. Not even a sorry to bring it up?

My local shop owner is now spending 6 months in the Fed Pen for deleting diesel trucks and then he will pay $148K fine, the EPA/DEQ is on full blast looking to find those who have deleted trucks...

If and when TDR has a forum policy position on this, it will be in the announcement section and added to the guidelines/rules if appropriate.

If you decide to be foolish, that's on you. TDR's policy has always been we will supply identifying information, and other requested information for any legal request such as a subpoena or warrant. This includes IP addresses, which can be used to identify you through your Internet provider. This policy includes Texans.

I wouldn't doubt if this was a sneaky test probe. I have seen several similar queries on other forums/sites. Most never had a follow-on from the OP; and most had similar polite, explanatory responses by members as was done here.
