Deleting first post in thread

How come we can't do it anymore?

Typing on a Web TV thingy in a hotel room in CO sobare with me! This s soooooo cool. They have web TV in the room I am in.



Anyhow they removed that option due to people wiping out whole threads. So the users can't delete a starting post in a thread, you can however delete other posts.



Hope this comes out ok... looks kinda funny doing it from a tv.

I just tried to delete one posting of a double thread on the 1st gen. I posted the topic twice because after I posted the first one, I got a notice that my page had expired, to continue click on refresh(which accomplished nothing). I thought I lost my first post, so I wrote another one. Now I've got two on view since I can't delete my last one! Now if I could just remember exactly how I got in this predicament!!!
