so these were in a 913 pump another member put in his truck, we never seen anything like this style holder before. There clearly aftermarket, just didnt know who's they were. the D/V itself says 181 but look cut.

Thanks

i am no expert but the holders look exactly like the stockers that were in my 180 pump. when my pump was off being tuned i had a set of ADT's cut dv's put in and the ridge on the holder was cut almost the the top.

they are stock out of a 180 pump but have been cut the should push some fuel.

Look somewhat like mine which are alittle more the laser cuts, you can tell by the what I call the piston part that slide in the barrel the lip at the top that hits the other when it is slide inside and keeps it from falling though is shorter the stock which when the pump cam comes up and open it gives more room for the fuel to flow out.

Most places when they do dv's just cut between the vanes and smooth it out they don't cut the lip off any.

?? look at the holders which is the part that the fuel lines hook to and see how big that hole is in the top stock they are only 20 25 thousands just wandereing if they are bigger.

one thing about the "holders" (IE the things the actual d/v goes into) is there alot larger diameter then any weve seen. they fill up the whole diameter of the barrell, where stock appearing ones have a shoulder on the bottom and taper up twards the top.

The holders themself are either stock 181's, 191's or 022's. Most likley the 181's as you mentioned the DV itself was marked as 181's. The DV's themself have been cut down as Super High Flows. They will be smokey at off idle and flow alot of fuel. Not what I would run on the street, but good for competition or dynoing. ;)

The delivery valve seat is the stock 181 seat, the delivery valve was turned down equivalent to a laser cut, and the delivery valve holders were most likely EDM'ed to a larger button size.

Ok thanks. the seat is what we wondered about the most, as we were used to seeing the typical stlye (below) even when I got a set of 191's and a cut set from city diesel, they had the seat that looked the same as below. good to know 181's seats look different.

The 131, 191, and 022 delivery valves use this style seat. Most laser cuts use these seats because the smaller 131 delivery valves are usually sent in to be upgraded vs the 181 delivery valves. The 181 seat is a much better choice, and comparatively speaking the 131 delivery valve is larger(less shoulder material) than the 181 delivery valve.

So if you put 131 dvs into 181 holders would it flow more than 181 dvs in the 181 holder??

I was experimenting with that before I pulled my pump off, it made the truck much stronger down low with a little more pre-boost fuel(smoke). I am currently working on a delivery valve project, custom seats and turned delivery valves, should be interesting.

does anyone have pics on the different delivery valves ... ... holder,, seats ect. . ,because i have a set of stockers and a set of 191's and my friend is milling down some to look like the lazar cut ones,,, whats up with the holes that i see on the plunger it self ????????? (more fuel :-laf )

131 delivery valve on the left, 181 delivery valve on the right.

The 191 delivery valve would flow more than the 131 delivery valve, but the 181 delivery valve seat is better than the 191 delivery valve seat.

Why do you feel this way? I do not understand how the seat itself can make that much of a differene?

The 191 seat is the same as the 131 seat, I feel this way because I changed the seats in an 838 pump from 131's to 181's, it makes a difference. It changes the amount of fuel that bypasses the delivery valve.
