Thanks, TDR Staff

Better way to seal a G56

Allison trans in 2022??

Internet searches are coming up 6 months from order to delivery. Getting responses from dealers of 3 months. Plus dealers are saying all options will work upon delivery, no chip issues. Knowing that Ford and GM are sending out trucks without full function of all options, makes me wonder how Ram is not doing same. Asking fellow TDR members to offer feedback about timeframe and options on ordering a 2022.

18 weeks we were quoted back early March.

But even 6mo is not too bad anymore. Would not stop me from ordering if you need it.

I have stuff for work that's 68 weeks out if you buy now.

Thanks for the feedback. Just want to make sure dealers are not over promising. My boss runs Fords and they had orders that took over a year for F450/F550 cab/chassis.

I ordered my 2022 Longhorn in mid august of 21 and picked it up early mid November 21. Everything that was supposed to be there was and worked

Bought 2022 3500 SRW 6.7HO on 11/30/21.
Still have not been able to get radio repaired , NO XM from day one. Uconnect 5 . not worked from day1

That kinda sucks on your radio, there are a bunch of TSB on over air updates, could just be a glitch of sorts. Sorry to hear that.

I got my initial order accepted email just yesterday, they think it will be sometime in the fall for the truck. Oct/Nov is what they were thinking. 6 months I guess.

I'm in no hurry, said I could settle for another 2500 but figure we go big, if the delays persist does not sound hard to get rid of a 3500 now a days.

It's at MSRP with any rebates at time of delivery which will probably be zero from what we discussed, but again not worried about that too much. This is the 5th vehicle from this dealer and they have been really good to me service wise and always get me in and out the door as best possible and that's worth a lot on my end.

I placed my order on 24Dec and got my VIN on 7Jan. I moved from D to D1 around the 15th of April, and estimated ship date was 25May. No changes since then.

A lot depends on what options you choose and how hard it is to source parts. From what I've read if you ordered a sunroof or cross path detection those are the worst at delays, as is the Aisin.

Very cool, I'm not up on all the positions and process. But I have a good sales person if I get updates, and signed up for text updates no clue if those help at all, probably not and it's a more manual ask the dealer.

Luckily it's the largest dealer in NJ, they have a bunch of stores so.

I have a single axle 8x10 landscape tilt trailer so the mega cab seemed ok.....

Not sure this will show up.

I took delivery of my '22 two weeks ago tomorrow.

It was built on the 27th of May but didn't ship until the 7th of July and arrived at the dealership on the 3rd of August. With my schedule I wasn't able to pick it up until the 26th of August.
