Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) delivery valve shims?

i ordered a set of lasercuts from Piers then used the instructions from the website to install them. well the dv's came with the new orings, but they also came with 6 what look like shims. i could find in the instructions anywhere what to do with them.



what are they? where do they go? and i even spose to use them?



i have a 98 w/ the 913 series 215 pump.

If I remember correctly the shims are used in the older pumps like the 94's and 95's, but I don't know where the cutoff is. On my 180 pump it didn't have then so I doubt yours will need them. Those big pumps get a little rude with Lasers in them, and I have yet to try a set in my pump!
