Like to hear some comments on Delo 400 SAE 5W-40 synthetic engine oil, been running it for a few years now, hope I'm doing OK, I've been lead to belive that Delo stands for "diesel engine lube oil" , anyone have some comments?

i was just on delo's website and it said this oil is for naturally asperated, turbocharged, and supercharger gas and diesel engines using low or normal sulfur fuels.

I've used non-synthetic Delo 400 in all three of my CTDs and like it. Cost $34-$36 for a case of six gallons at Costco.

edit: Oh yeh, I change oil and filter every 5K.

Delo oil will be just fine. I started using it around 25K miles and I now have 137K with no problems. I do oil analysis about every 25K now and no problems. The results are always very good. New oil smell isn't very bad as well. That's why I switched from Rotella.

I chose Delo 400 because it had a higher breakdown temperature. Mainly because of the turbo bearings. Lots of TDR's use it successfully. I get it about $6. 50 / gal at Wal-Mart. I change every 5k, only have 42k though.

You have to like what you use, everyone's choice is for different reasons.
