More Truck Dealership Fun

Have a McCormick CX75 tractor with a Perkins engine and Delphi injector pump. The casting on the pump says "185/200" and the tag says it is a type 1291. Tractor dealer technician says a pump adjustment can get me 7-10 hp. Does anyone have any experience or information in adjusting/tuning this pump? Any performace parts out there for it? (different plates, etc?)

An injection shop can always optimize a pump
If the tractor is not near its limits as far as temps and durability
A 10% gain should be safe

That is the beauty of the older McCormick CX series. the 75 thru the 105 are the same tractor (powertrain, tires, sheetmetal, transmission, everything) even the Perkins engine, the only difference is the fueling and the 95 and 105 have a turbocharger and different intake. So in theory increasing the HP up to about 100hp should be safe for the rest of the tractor.
