Can someone please get the P/N for the 2001. Delphi steering box and post it. My dealer was good enough to order a new box but not sure if we will get a G. M. Saginaw or Delphi. Is there a way to definitly get the Delphi when you order a box from Chrysler? My 2001 4x4 wanders terribly.

Dawg, I'll try to crawl under mine and see if I see one. I didn't see one when mine was installed on Friday. I'm sure it was there, I just wasn't looking.

Edited Response - I looked on Delphi's website. It looks like it is the Delphi 700 series and if I had to guess it is the 708 gear. I'm waiting on a Delphi email now. Alan

GM Saginaw and Delphi are the same thing. The name was changed from GM to Delphi a few years back.

I realize that from a web seach on Delphi. The gear that came off my truck was stamped GM Saginaw and the new gear has the Delphi stamp. The new gear doesn't have that strange binding feel when making slight movements of the steering wheel such as in a curve. Dawg, I looked and could not find a number stamped. I'm basing the 708 number from the Delphiauto.com web page showing the different gears.
