I just put this tank in my truck and am thinking it is sitting too high to be able to see the 5er hitch when I go to hook up to the 5er when I do get one in the future. Are you guys running any in bed fuel tanks like this and how are you dealing with the situation? Thanks.
One quick choice you have is to put a back-up camera on the back of the fuel tank to aim at the hitch - - about $100. at Auto Zone or O'Reilly's - - just use some fast setting epoxy to hold it in place all you will use it for is hooking up. You don't need a big screen fancy one.
My friend did the same with the magnetic antenna.
It's tall enough for putting on his 5r and just tall enough when he uses his kids bumper pull trailer.
Best of both worlds, and cheap if it needs to be replaced.
