Just noticed at Wal Mart that they are now carrying the Delvac Conventional oil, 1300???

Just wondering if there are any users out there. It was 5. xx per gallon. I have been using the PB conventional oil, but it is about the most expensive conventional oil.

If you are a Wal-Mart shopper (like I am) buy the Delo 400. It's under $6. 00 per gallon too and is a much better oil then the Delvac 1300. The #1 reason, IMO, not to run the Delvac 1300 is the high ash contnet, 1. 5%. Ash can leave engine deposits, a very bad thing. Although this number seems minimal, it is the highest I have seen of any oil, conventional or synthetic.

IMO, the Delo 400 is the best conventinal oil available, and it is a bargin for under $6. 00 per gallon.

Shelby, I also recomend DELO 400, I have been running it for the last 24,000 and just got a oil analysis back from Blackstone with a very good report, I have been getting mine from COSTCO. #ad

Thanks for the replies. I have nothing against the Delo 400, but it appears that the Delvac may have taken that shelf space at Wal Mart. I think Costco is cheaper anyway, and they do always carry the Delo 400. Mostly was just wondering about the conventional Delvac, hear quite a few good things about the Delvac 1 synthetic, but not much about the conventional.

Thanks,

Shelby

Hey Shelby - long time no hear. I'm going to be at TS&S on Monday at 3PM. I bought Power Vision mirrors from them and tried to install by self. PHEW - anyway I'm wimping out and have them finish up the job. I'll buy a beer if you're interested! I'll be in your town from noon on just messing around.
