Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Denver Area Cummins Shop Needed

I am looking for a Denver area diesel shop (besides ATS) that does quality work at a fair price. I have a couple of problems that need attention. Throttle Position Sensor is causing shifting problems between 2nd and 3rd. ABS Light and Brake light are stuck on. Speedometer stays at ZERO until it hits about 25 to 30 MPH then it jumps up. These are likely simple fixes; however I don't have time to mess with it.

You may want to check with Central Motive Power. They are located around 58th and Broadway off I25 and 58th ave. Other than that I know of Performace Wise in Arvada or your local Dodge dealer.

My experience with Central Motive Power wasn't all that good. A friend's truck (98 24V) blew its injection pump, and Central Motive Power was convinced that the reason the truck would not run was because the oil had not been changed in the last 3500 miles. Maybe others have had better experience, but they did NOT impress me.

mschoenheider, thats the first bad thing I've heard about Central Motive Power. You would think they knew what they were doing since they are an authorized repair facility for VP44's. Too bad about yours friends poor experience.

your speedo, shift problem are probably from a shot low speed sensor on the transmission. Cheap part, easy to r/r, not sure if you need a computer to reset anything.
