Hi all,

I am seeking recommendations for Denver area Dodge dealers. If you have a dealer you just love, please let me know. I am in the market for a 2004 and don't want to get jerked around.

Thanks

I bought 3 trucks from Broadway Dodge in Englewood. Very happy with the sales and service each time. I can't remember the name of the sales manager right now, but if you are interested, I can get you his name. I bought my 04. 5 at dealer invoice and kept all rebates. :)

Klenger,

That would be great. I stopped by there this afternoon and the salesman that I walk up to was a jerk. He ****** me off in like 2. 5 seconds. I just hope the name you give me isn't that guy! LOL

The saleman I worked with was Ted Petrie. His boss, the fleet sales manager, is Jeff Briggs. Ask to talk to Jeff. He may refer you to a salesman, but once the contact is made, he should work with you. Tell them that you want fleet pricing. You may want to mention my name and that you were referred from the TDR forum. It would be foolish for a sales person to pi$$ off a customer who has the ear of 20,000 TDR members. I ordered my 04. 5 from them in mid-Dec. and took delivery late Januar. Good luck.

My Dad and I have bought 3 trucks from Bill Muller (Fleet Sales Manager) at John Elway Dodge on Arapahoe. A program that many people are not familiar with is the Costco auto program it saved me nearly $3,000. And I got all of the applicable rebates as well. If you have any qusetions feel free to ask me.

Silver,

Whats the Costco program?

There are some dealers advertising 9,000 off MSRP. That seems to be about 3,000 below invoice? Is that expected when they are trying to ditch the old models?

Give Ira Tew a call @ (303)972-6326! He is the Internet Sales Manager at John Elway SW on S. Wadsworth. Great, no B. S. guy! Easiest car deal I've ever done, and the guy worked his a** off to find me the exact truck I wanted!

I second the recommendation for John Elway Southwest on Wadsworth. I worked with Don Ziminski and it was the easiest deal I've ever done too. I've also been very pleased with the service dept. after the sale.

I am not sure how their sales department is but, I feel the best diesel tech I have found in the Denver area is at Medved Dodge in Castle Rock. I didn't get my truck through them though so, not sure who I would suggest to buy from in Denver. I brought mine through a broker and it was the best buying experience I have had. They did all the leg work for me and gave me a great price. If you want to look into that route at all, I would suggest calling Pat Laurie at Centennial Leasing & Sales 303-231-2125. If you do call him, tell him Chad Kukla referred you. He is a good guy and no, I don't get any kick backs for referring anyone to him.

Prestige in Longmont - talk to Randy (or Kurt at the desk). And ask them where my 300C is.

Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton - talk to Linda or Kathy in fleet.

Dhess mentioned Johnson auto plaza in brighton. I have bought my last 2 vehicles from them . One from Linda (my 01 ctd) and one from Kathy (96 gasser) in fleet sales. They were just flat the best auto buying experience I have ever had. When I went to Elway on Arapahoe to talk about trading in my 96 on the 01 ctd they offered me 8k for it, it was in excellent shape. Then drove up to Johnson they offered me 12k for it and about 4k less on the new truck price. Now in all fairness to Elway on Arapahoe I did not know Bill Mueller at that time and did not talk to him in the fleet dept. I have dealt with Bill on some vehicles at work since then as well as the local tdr club and he seems to be a stand up guy though I still have not bought a vehicle from him. Bill brought some vehicles out to a local tdr meet we had once and offered all the members a decent deal at the time. If you talk to Bill make sure and let him know you are part of the TDR couldnt hurt as he is aware of us.

I Bought a 03 2500 Dodge from "Bill" Muller at John

Elway Dodge on Arapahoe Rd. And could not be more

happy with the service and the price! They even drove out to Denver airport to pick me up when I flew in from Cal. to pay for the truck. Keep up the good work Bill. Jerry :)

I'll third Johnson Auto Plaza, Kathy or LInda in fleet. I bought my current truck from them in Mar. They start at invoice minus rebates. Plus they gave me $1500 more for my trade than any local dealer wanted to give me a year before with 20000 fewer miles.

I talked to Linda at Johnson. Only problem is they are short on 6 speeds. John Elway has exactly what I want though. Can Johnson swap them trucks?

Johnson Auto Plaza. I've bought two from Mike Bishop.

The truck I have now was on their lot as the result of a trade with another dealer.

I recommend Bob Nichols out at Broadway Dodge... he was a straight shooter and I would of bought a 2004 from him had I not found my 2003 in Dallas.

J. D. out at John Elway on Arapahoe was a great guy but AutoNation does not deal on their trucks. I made an offer to the sales Manager on duty one night on a 04 305/555 that was marked at 35,059. I offered 32,699 but they wouldn't budge a nickel. I knew Bob @ Broadway could do a dealer trade and steal it out from Elway at a fair 33,699 price. This was a loaded SLT plus Black Sport with Side Curtain Air Bags and Infinity sound... everything but leather.

I would also recommend Tim "Elvis" Kerr out at Centenial Leasing and Sales. He has a fleet of white 2004s off lease with 22,000 miles and I thought he was a straight shooter and had good pricing.

I really looked around all over before going to Dallas. I would say avoid Lithia as I wasn't at all happy with their sales team.

John Elway on Arapahoe has one of the largest service centers I've seen and their Diesel Tech "Mike" has been awesome fixing an issue the Elway on Wadsworth tech could not do after two visits... a Speedo value change for my LT315s
