Hey guys-
Been pretty sad the last week or so... I got my 1996 dodge and love the thing to death, what an awsome truck. But now I finally got a buyer for my Camaro SS and im tottally bummed about it. I got it as a junior in high school and everyone knew me for the car. I'm 19 now, and my life changed so much while I had it and Ive had so many memories with it. It justs makes me so sad to give it up like that... I'm getting a steal of a deal on it from the guy that wants it, hes paying more that i think its worth... I sold it for 15k dollars and its a 1998 with 40k miles. However, i know in 2 years or so it will only be worth maybe 10k becuase of the age. The other reason I sold it is because its not very pracitcal for hauling anything, always gotta be careful when i drive not to hit a bump to hard, and that black is just a pain to keep clean and scratch free. What im gonna miss is how good it does on the corners on a tight highway rode and all my memories. I always hear older guys talk about, "Ya if i still had my first car from highschool, i sure miss it" Commonsense wise and economically, selling is the right thing to do, but emotionally, i don't know
Any input to make me feel any better would be appriciated!
Erik
