DFW BIG DAWG Dyno

The 2nd annual DFW BIG DAWG Diesel Competition will be held Oct. 23-24. Dyno to be held in (Balch Springs) Mesquite Texas(East side of Dallas).



This is open to all brands.



We will dyno all day Saturday and Drag Race Sunday at Denton Dragway



Dyno facility will open its doors at 8:00a. m. and first truck will strap down at 8:30.



Denton Dragway will open at 12:00 we have full run of the track, its ours to do as we please.





We will have bracket racing as well as fun & grudge.



This will be an ODRA Sanctioned event and all ODRA members will receive discounted prices.

Man JB we have so many guys coming its going to be nucking futty. We have the dyno reserved all day Saturday. We're working on the track for Sunday, but with the amount of guys talking about showing up for the dyno we may try to reserve the dyno for part of Sunday instead of the track.



You folks thinking about coming need to call me or at least put up a post so I can figure out what y'all ould rather do.

SM Diesel and the Outlaw Diesel Racing Association www.outlawdra.com are putting on a Dyno Day Sat. Oct. 23rd at Fastech www.fastechperformance.com in Balch Springs, Tx (outside of Mesquite). The doors open at 8:00 am with the first pull is at 8:30am.



We rented the track in Denton for a "Diesel Only Race Day" www.dentondragway.com on Sunday Oct. 24 from 12:00 to 6:00 for time trials, heads up and bracket racing.

Had a great time at the event, it's nice to get out of town and visit with folks again, Wes did a good job of putting on the event, very nice facilities, dyno close to the door for smoke control, they cooked food (Thanks Gals) a few vendors had displays up and just some good ole' talking going on, not quite the truck count(19 or 20) when I left at 5:30 but a nice event and not too over worked. Interesting shop that let you get a discounted rate for HP only pulls, or add the sensor for a little or more pulls for a little more than that with a few at the end getting a chance to R&D some different boxes ect.



There working on an event for the Spring time at the race track with a mobile dyno to run several days so people can run multiple days and try several different things... ... nice idea and I hope to make it with a few new toys.

Popped two of my rear's spider gears Wednesday. Removed the diff, pulled the junked gears out, and Friday Afternoon, finished off the last two gears.
