Well, I had a turbo seal go out on me today on my 24V. I think the reason for the seal going out was because of the way I stored it while waiting for me to finish up my motor work.

I had the turbo stood on end. With the Cold side pointing towards the sky. A hint for anybody not planning to install a turbo soon after they get it... . Store the turbo just as it would be installed on the motor. The shaft should be horizontal, not Vertical like I did.

If the turbo gets done in time (Mailing it right today), and I get a couple bugs worked out,, then I'll be there. So far, even with a MAP sensor out, and the Valves out of adjustment, it moves out nicely.

What I did see of this new hybrid '55,,, it spools easily. Imporved from what my HX-40 was doing. .

The Texass LongHorn will soon be on the road again...

(Hopeflly in time for the dyno :-laf )

I'll be there early (9ish). Just Dynoed on a Mustang Dyno yesterday. Will be interested to see the difference in #'s. Heard can be as much as 20%. Anyone done both with same set up?

AggieLR - Take 75 to McKinney, Rt121 to Lewisville. Speedworks is just south of 121 before you get to I-35.

Anyone looking for directions - there is a map at www.txspeedworks.com or call them at 972-395-9844.

That's graduation day for most colleges around Texas. If I didn't HAVE to be at the one here at SFA, then I would HAVE to be in College Station, and then Huntsville if not there. Too many friends graduating this year!! :{

Yall have fun, and drink a cold one for me. :)

Andrew

The 29th would be a much better date ;)

My 12V should be put together again with Lots of goodies. I could do a couple shake down runs in it there... .

But no earlier than the 29th. .

I'll be there if it rains tomorrow so I'll see yall there with some small numbers nothing big. LOL :D chris hurry up I need a drink.

Wow, what a bunch of fun that event was, 30 trucks dyno'd, some time delays for multiple runs and the tach reader:mad: but all in all a great event. A Special thanks for the Powerstroke guys for putting on this event (I'm bad with names) but the main guy that put the event together, keep up with the runs and a running list, brought donuts in the morning and cooked lunch for all of us... ..... Hat's off to you, and to top it off had 2 nice plaques(he built) for the winners. Top Powerstroke and Top Horsepower... ... ..... and in the end paid for a dyno run out of HIS pocket for someone that didn't pay(gasser guy)

Jim

Heard you had some good numbers Jim, congrats buddy!! Those Ford guys are nice aint they? ;)

Wish I could have made it, but my girlfriend was graduating from college.

Andrew

That's fine, you were where you should have been! Yea the numbers were good for a 1% correction factor. I'll catch up with you another time, tell the little lady hey for me!

Jim

Hey Jim , couldn't remember exacts. Plus couldn't stay in the shop, you know visibility was down to a1/4" during your runs.

Impressive all in all,
