Right angle drill needed

Now that the weather is starting to get nice, this seems like a great idea. That and my FASS and Edge Comp just got here. In a few more weeks I expect my turbo and larger injectors to arrive as well. Anyone in the DFW area with a right angle drill that I can borrow for a fee? Or better yet, anyone want to get together sometime for some wrenching on our trucks? I know Forrest is up for it, but figure a few more people would make it more fun. Unfortuneately I do not have the location, but I can bring the tools.

A DFW wrenching day would be nice if we had a place to do it. I just installed a set of injectors in my truck on sunday. Turbo, injectors, comp, and gauges are easy to install with the proper tools. So if this gets big enough i may just bring my tools to help out yall. Let me know when and where and if my truck isn't down i'll be glad to help out. Might even get JB to come along for the ride. :-laf

Sounds like a great idea. I should have a new super "B" turbo on the way. I would like to meet the local diesel smoke lovers. I will bring a buffet full of smoke with me. :-laf :-laf :-laf

This is something Jeff Clark and myself have been discussing for some time with the Big D Dodge Diesel club. Just never were really able to get anything together. I have a moderate size detached garage and probably 99% of the tools you would need for anything, its that 1% that really gets you as I'm sure many of you know. Just don't have a lot of parking space with a front driveway/rear garage. Once you get a few vehicles here parking becomes a premium but it could be doable. Biggest problem for me right now is time, 2. 5 week old baby here. Jeff has a decent shop and room but he has been pretty busy at work here lately so I don't know how much help either of us could be but it sounds like fun. Keep us posted, I may at least want to join the fun and supervise, uh, I mean sit around and drink beer. If you want we could do it here but will just have to be careful with the scheduling. Not too concerned with the noise and the baby, he likes to sleep during the day and stay awake all night. Maybe it will help. If we do anything here I have to invite a phord friend that wants to install gauges that I have been putting off. He's good guy and wants a Dodge from what I hear.

"Start thinking of a date in April!

While at 4WheelParts in Plano today, I talked to the service manager about coming to Waco Sunday. He has jacked up '03 with Road Armor front and rear and a few more goodies. I'm sure he will be there.

Now the good part... ... ..... He asked one of the managers if he would be willing to let us meet there sometime. Not only did he say that he would, but would furnish pizza, drinks and door prizes. He will even set up a tent or canopy for a meeting. Since they sell for all brands of trucks and Jeeps and whatever, any of your friends with the inferior brands of trucks would be welcome to attend. He will need at least 30 days notice. We can talk more about it Sunday.

(I cut and pasted this from the DTR) Charlie from the DTR page working on getting this together... I know you will probably want to have a wrench day before then. . but if they get the dyno setup. . it will be a good chance to try the new mods...

Hey Guys,

You're all welcome to put a wrench day together at my shop out in Quinlan (35 miles E of Dallas). Just come up with a time frame. I just have to schedule it around a couple of O-Ring jobs and a couple sets of Twins.

Later,

Wes
