With the Pro Street class loaded with low 12 second trucks the competition is tough and heating up. Street Diesel's round 1 & 2 winner got knocked off in the second round by some first time racers so who knows whats gonna happen in Gainsville. Only way to know is to show up and see what the fun is all about.

Truck will be at Moroso Fri night and Kris will be testing for me. I have to go to my niece's graduation in Orlando. New 14mm head studs in along with some other "extras" but no roll bar so 12:00 is my target. Oh yea we are staying at the Travelodge right off I-75 in Gainesville.

What time will the racing start at G'ville raceway?

I just emailed them to find out exactly but I heard track opens at 11:00.

I was told the racing starts around 4:00 pm and it will be a regular Saturday race as well as the DHRA event . they can be contacted here http://www.gainesvilleraceway.com/ but the website makes no mention of the DHRA . Rich

Gates open at 4:00pm. Qualifying starts at 4:30 and eliminations start at 7:00 pm. Not as racer friendly as the other tracks as it looks like we won't get any practice runs before qualifying.

I called the track and they said gates open at 4 pm time runs between 4:30 to 7 pm qualifying and eliminations 7:30 pm
