Here it comes-Indiana Diesel Nationals!

INDY nationals ORP pictures...is your truck in here?

I have lined up hotel rooms for when we go. We are undecied if we are staying Friday hight or not we are staying Sat night for unsure. Is it worth going up Friday night? My next question is how much is a two day pass and where do we buy tickets at? Thanks in advance!!!

Well everything will be happing at night at the hotels. Fri and sat night you will want to be there for both. Tickets were 30. 00 for the weekend last year.

Stay for both Nights. . We New Englanders, come out Thursday just to be in town for Friday. It starts out as drive byes, then Burnouts, followed by utter Nutty-ness  Moose

Yep both nights are pretty cool, but if you can only go for one night, Saturday night is the time to go if you ask me. You can get tickets right at IRP the day of the event.

Our plans are to leave at 9 am Friday morning so if anyone wants to make a convoy we will be coming through Burlington,IA PerioaIll, BloomingtonIll and Danville let me know.

Whats a good hotel to stay at? Anything we should look for or lookout for? A group of about 8 of us are planing to come for friday night and saturday. Never been there before but cant wait to go so any help would be appreciated.

You can try getting rooms at the Motel 6 or Days Inn in Plainfield, IN. If those are full, search for other hotels nearby those 2. They are the place to be.....

anybody know who to contact for camping info and prices... ? leaving franklin pa @ 8am fri if anyone interested in convoying... ... .

Trailer Draggers

I thought I would pass this along to all of you pulling a trailer and coming from the EAST. Interstate 70 in downtown Indianapolis is under construction. It is a 6 mile stretch from I-465 to the "south split" They DO NOT ALLOW any trailers. It is a $500. 00 fine when you get pulled over. Not if, but when. They have handed out over 2,500 tickets so far just for semi's and pick up trucks with trailers. All you have to do is take the I-465 South exit loop around and that will get to the road of your choice to get to IRP (ORP). If anyone has any questions about this I will be happy to answer them in a PM, Email ( -- email address removed -- ) or here. Let me know. -Jason
