We just got home this afternoon. We had a good time, with a few exceptions. I always like the burnouts, and even saw a ford with a jet engine in the bed. He lit that thing off too!One thing i didn't care for this year, was there seemed to be more young, too drunk,too mouthy and too inconsiderent people there than before. I don't think the bikini contest added anything that was needed at this show. Now you can call me too old ,or what-ever, but you don't have to be a drunken a**hole to have fun. When someone asks the crowd in the grandstands if they wish he would hurry up and pass-out, he has had way too much to drink. Sorry for the rant, but that is the way i see it. ( i heard the same things from others at the show)Randy

While I wasnt at this show, I was at the TS Outlaw challenge a few weeks ago and thought the exact same thing. Way too many young kids, with $50,000 trucks (still not sure how they are affording those..... ) being mouthy, inconsiderate and ignorant. Glad to hear the show was still a good time, too bad I missed it... .

Rattler, my wife and I must have been near you because I saw the young idiot that stood up and asked if we would like him to hurry up and pass out. He was in the same row as us, about 20 ft to our left. We also wondered, as some of you, how all these young 20-somethings could afford those expensive trucks. Overall, though, we enjoyed the show. It was our first time but won't be our last. I love watching the sled pulls. Loved hearing those turbos spool up on those modified pullers. Nothing sweeter sounding than a Cummins at full boost!

I think i will petition the state of Indiana to raise thier drinking age to 30. That should take care of some of that public stupidity. Other than that, we had a good time, and will be back next year. Rattler:-laf:-laf

I hope that law doesn't make it on the books for another few years. I'm 28 and love my beer, but I wasn't one of the young troublemakers at IRP/ORP.

It MUST of done something. I was in the pit area. Someone asked me if I knew where the hot body contest was. I pointed to the bleachers where TONs of people were peering over the top. About that time the crowd went wild. Told him I wasnt sure, but I'd lay $100 its over there. And if its not, Id be gone by the time he got back to get his $100. :-laf
