Competition Truck Pulls Rock Southern Indiana

Competition Any more 'big' pulls?

The DHRA Division 1's next race is on Saturday 7/17 at Pittsburgh Raceway Park(formerly known as Keystone) in New Alexandria, Pa:

http://www.pittsburghracewaypark.com

Gates open at 1:00 p. m. , Test & Tune start at 3:00 p. m. and Eliminations 6:00 p. m.

Hope to see many of you there and welcome all new faces...

You don't need to be a DHRA member to race, and you don't have to race to come out and watch the action!

If you have any questions, please ask...

Thanks...

Hey Andy... ...

Are you going to be holding training sessions on how to gain that great reaction time?? ;)

Count me in.

I'll be there. That track has come a long way in the past three years. New, longer track, better pit areas. And with one admission price, you can gain access to the pit areas. Before, that cost extra. So, all diesel junkies can hang out together.

I just hope I break into the 17's. :D

I'm sure I'll be spending more money after getting beat up at this event. Lots of bad influences around me lately.

BE THERE!!!

Sounds Good Jason!

We'll be there to cheer you on regardless of your time...

BUT we'll be hounding you to buy some goodies by the end of the day! :)

See ya there everyone!!

Any ideas on who will have the fastest truck there and what do they run?

It will all depend on who can make it out. I'm not sure if he is planning on making it up, but Ted Kobi had the low ET out at Maple Grove (12. 14 E. T. in time trails).

Andy's "Big Red" is currently in the reassembly stage. If it's back together in time, it will certainly put on one heck of a show. If not, I'm sure he will be there with his "slow" truck. ;)

Another local, Ron Kimmell, recently had the build up on his 3500 completed. I don't think he has had it on the track yet, but it should also run some good numbers if he comes out.

From what I understand, quite a few of our local TDR members will be out running for the fun of it. We hope that you can join us there.

Ted Kobi will definitely be up with his truck. Just wait til you guys see that truck run... :D

Yeah Ron Kimmell(aka CB) will be there too and if he can roll through those gears like he wants, that truck should run great.

Another one is Patriot Diesel(Jeff Magyar), who just recently had Massdiesel(Scott Hovey) build him a race transmission, so he will also be a serious contender.

I am working on my 99, and truely hope to have it there.

There are a few other Big-Hitters who should be there too.

I keep trying to get old Sled Puller to come down, because he only lives about 2 hours away, and show us all how it is done on the drag strip, but he keeps telling me there is some local pull he has to go to. :-laf

Should be one great day...

whooo whooo

First off yes we will be their with a little white suprise from NC . But for you guys to even cosider seeing andy sebeks truck run you have all thought wrong i have been good freinds with him for a few years i have never seen his truck make a pass. Not unless a miracle happens to see him put it together. Dont worry Ted kobi will vouch for this why to you think we call it the trailer queen. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, if MASSDiesel would get the dang head studs from engineering backorder, maybe we could get it together and prove you wrong! :p

it's always a waiting game with these dang high end parts...

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE that white ride from NC!!!!!!

this will be an AWESOME weekend! I may get so excited i'll slam 6 gears of my own and run down the track?!? (even as slow as it may be) :D

Yeah probably the closest it came to a 1/4 mile pass was the time YOU were driving it and blew the headgasket for the second time... :-laf...

While I will agree that Andy's red truck once was a trailer queen... I can assure you that it no longer is. Andy has a few new friends here that will make him run it once it is back together. ;)

SEE IT TO BELEIVE

YEAH YEAH HOW MUCH IS HE PAYING YOU GUYS TO LIE FOR HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i HAVE KNOWN HIM SINCE 2001 AND THAT TRUCK WILL LET YOU DOWN. HAHAHA

Perhaps we can come up with our own pot of money for fastest ET, any takers?

As for Andy's red truck, it doesn't go down the track so well, but I have never seen a truck get into a garage any faster. Its like our own drag racing version of Ground Hog Day, when Andy's truck peeks out in early spring, if it pukes antifreeze, then you know its going to be good weather for the racing season ahead. Just kidding Andy, but one of the days we have to line the Red Rocket up vs the Grey Ghost. Scott, looking foward to lining up against the "White Suprise" from NC also.
