Does anyone have any info on the DHRA event April 29th at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green - classes pulling, event schedule for the day, ect. ? Anyone who has been to this one in the past, chime in with your $0. 02 on what this event is like.
Sorry I've missed this post. This has been our season kick off for three years. We are going to try something new with regional events. It will be like a mini-IRP with dyno, vendors, pulls and drags. We don't have the schedule finished just yet. I'm heading down to do some logistics in February. It will be a long day with drags in the morning and pulls in the afternoon. And we will be pulling all four DHRA classes.
Just wanted to let everyone know a litte more about Bowling green. It is a great place for this type of event(used to hold Sports National drags there). Also the week prior to dhra get together they will be hosting the Chrysler Classic series for any of you guys that like Mopar Muscle. April 21-23 they will have drags, show cars and vendors. This is a Mopar only event so there will be alot of great cars there. Randy Oo. Oo. Oo.
Dont forget that Dennis Perry is having an Open house and Dyno Day at TS Performance on friday... It is a really good time. Plenty of good folks, food, and Fun
Just got some bad news from the DHRA. Due to a scheduling problem with the track the Kentucky DHRA Nationals has been cancelled. It looks like Beech Bend scheduled a ASA race in the time spot that the DHRA was supposed the have. There were no other dates available.
We are really bummed , because we have sponsored this race for the past three years and we really look forward to it.
