New member to TDR and absolutely love the site:) Preparing to "modify" my '01 in increments and I want to start with Di Pricol gauges as seen in TDR #34 . Can't find a source for their fuel pressure gauge. Do they make one and can it be used with a remote sensor  Thanks for the great resource that you TDR folks provide. Jim G.

I didn't know that DiP. made a FP gauge ? You could use their boost gauge, but it would be my first choice as there are better alternatives. I have 3 of the DiP. gauges, egt, boost and oil temp. All work well, but I'd check on the boost gauge as I believe that they changed it to a 30 or 35 psi reading max, mine is 60 psi's. No big deal if you plan on remaining stock or just adding some minor enhancements. If you plan on large injectors and a fueling box you'll wish you had a gauge that reads up to 50 psi's. My only other concern is the lack of an illuminated needle on the egt. gauge, not the easiest to read at night but not a real big deal either, just wished it had the illuminated needle the other DiP. 's have.

If you don't mind mixing gauges ( analog and digital), SPA makes a real nice pressure/temp. gauge that you can use for your fuel pressure and any other temp. that you desire (short of egt. ). Mine's been in for about 10 months now and I really like the added features of the SPA.

I also have a Autometer Ultralite mechanical FP gauge mounted on the exterior (hood) for pre-filter psi's. Works great, although it does have a tendancy to fog slightly after a heavy rain. It clears right up after the sun hits it and I don't plan on swapping it out unless it fails. There's a pic. of the Autometer in the readers rigs section under Bigsaint if you want to check it out.

Thanks Scott

Thanks for the detailed reply Scott, as you can see in my sig. I'm new at this and really appreciate experienced input:) . Jim G.

Glad that I could help

Jim, you have more than a few TDR members in CT. Try to hook up with them and see what they are running. The gauge issue is really about personal preference as to gauges and mounts, see what they have and make a informed decision. I went with the TST DiP. 's and actually had them in my hands before I even picked up the truck. They perform as advertised and I have no complaints, other than the needle issue on the pyro. The SPA gauge is real nice, but pricey. If you like the looks of a digital gauge they are a good investment. I'm going to do my best to make it to at least one TDR event up your way come summer, maybe I'll see ya.
