Di-Pricol replacment bulbs

Can anyone tell me where to get replacments, my trans and boost both went out, but the egt is still working good. I've showed them to most parts places and theve never seen this kind before. Shaped like a torpedo and have raised endentations 180* from each other, small to.

E5. 9... , Also try Ken Jones, at Diesel performance of Utah... He sells a lot of Dipricol gauges, and can probally help you. I have Dipricol gauges also, and with every up-grade, the manufacturer changes the darn type of bulbs and sockets! If worst comes to worst, I'm sure Ken can get you a new set of sockets and bulbs that will work for your gauge. He can be reached at 801-791-2328, M-F, 9:00am-3:00pm Rocky Mountain time.

E5. 9, did they both stop working at the same time, if so maybe you just lost a connection somewhere,(ground) just a helpful tip!!

Good point!

MM has a good point, I didn't read E5. 9's post that carefully. One bulb burn out, I buy that, Two bulbs on same gauge, all bulbs on two different gauges at sametime... Naw. Most guage installs are wired in series, common ground, common power. If what MM and I have surmised, and if all bulbs failed at the same-time, it is a connection issue...

It's kinda weird how it happened. Both boost and trans bulbs didn't go out at the same time. The trans went first, then about 2 weeks later the boost. I pulled the A- pillar to check and see if i had a short in the wireing, grounds checked good, no cuts or abbrations to hot wires either, and getting juice to all gauges. I noticed that the EGT bulb is different from the others. It looks like a miniture 1156 bulb.

I think Steve's right about the bulb changing every time you turn around. I needed a bulb for one of my gauges and when I talked to Danin, Inc. (Di-pricol) they told me that they had newer replacements, including new sockets for the different bulb style.



They sent the newer replacements, which the rep said uses a bulb that I can find at an electronics store.



Try an electronics store.



If that doesn't work, Danin's number is 800-398-6590.

Thanks for your info too Steve... I might try finding a bulb thats the same watts, that will be standard. Along with the sockets too. .
