Attention: TDR Forum Junkies To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.
We have been selling these for a couple of months now. The Predator has a specific stack program in it designed to work with the Power Puck. The techs at Diablo told me it doesn't go over the reccomended max PSI the CP is rated for etc. They are getting a 200 HP gain from the stack on their dyno. It will be out for the 2004. 5+ trucks pretty soon as well.
We have a couple of guys that are getting a rail pressure gauges installed that have gotten them so we'll see exactly what the pressures are etc when they report back.
Got two 06's that I'd like to try the Diablo stack on. Are they out yet, anybody tried them? Also, is the trinity dashboard unit out and is it working out?
I Have a Power Puck and Diablo downloader on my '05
I have had the Power Puck for a while. There is a definite power increase on high power mode. Added the Diablo downloader a month ago and tried the the extreme tune for a Puck equiped engine. The power was unbelievable! There is also a lot of black smoke in this mode.
On an 80MPH uphill drive for a few miles the MIL lite up. The code was battery temperature. I don't know if this was a glitch or if it was getting hot under the hood so I changed the download to economy/tow mode with the Puck set to high. Since then no MIL. I won't try the extreme mode until I get an exhaust temp guage.
I have a turbo-back 4" dual exhaust to keep EGT down.
One thing I did notice. The heater light does not stay on when starting on cold days. It is lite for about 3 seconds no mater what the temperature is outside. I wait for the sound of the lift pump to stop before starting it. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds of cranking to start. It did this prior to installing the Diablo download.
