INSTALLED DIABLO POWER PUCK 5 MO AGO. QUITE OFTEN THE TRUCK DIES TO IDLE AND SLOWLY REGAINS POWER. HAS ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT IN INTERSECTIONS NUMEROUS TIMES. HAVE SEEN THAT THEY HAVE ADDED A MAP SENSOR TO THE NEW POWER PUKS. . HAS ANYONE USED THEM? IF SO, HOW WOULD U RATE THEM? THANKS - LEE

I would have called the mfg the first time that happened and for shure the 2nd time:confused: . What do they say??????

I know of 3 Members that got phucked

by the puck  switched to Ez's and problems went bye bye .

Maybe Bob Riley will chime in

The Pucks

that I have seen have no sealant around the wire entrance to the box. Wide open entry for water, dust etc. I think my Vanaaken was a good choice. Try a Van, or the Edge box. Good reports, few problems, great backup.

Get ahold of the dealer you bought it from. You have the wrong unit. Diablo warrants their products for life anyway, but I agree, I would have called the first time this happened. Let me know if I can help you at all.

Could be a faulty TPS.

My truck (When stock) had a bad TPS,, the symptoms were the truck would,, in the blue, go to idle,, then about 15 seconds would regain full power.

You may want to pull codes and check to see what's up,,, it may not be the puck.
