Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Diagnostic codes

How do I check for code (fault) settings that may have been set on my truck. I've tried the ignition 3 times on/off quickly procedure, but get nothing. My truck specs are listed below. TIA

John, Some (or all) 99s won't read through the odometer. Go to Autozone. Up here, they'll read them for you for free.

'98 and '99s have to be read with a scan tool, do as Alan says
