Does anyone out there have the Diagnostic Trouble Codes for the '97 model? A search of previous TDR articles refers only to issue #23, pp 13-14, which depicts the DTCs for the 1994 model. Are the '97 codes the same as for the '94? I believe this feature was discontinued for '98 and later models.

I found the DTCs for the '97 in my service manual under "Onboard Diagnostics. " I had been looking under Diagnostics. Many appear to be the same as for the '94, but more are listed for the '97 than for the '94. I don't know if all of them are functional. Let me know if anyone wants them by emailing me at galen@cyberlynk.com. Thanks to Iceman for his reply.

The 97-98 12 valve and the ISB all require the DRB diagnostic tool to obtain trouble codes
HEMI®Dart,

Questions about DRB diagnostic tool. I assume this tool will work with a gas job. Do you know where and for about how much money this tool could be purchased? Friend of mine asked me that the other day. He said you can buy relatively low costs scanners for GM or Ford but Dodge is a bit expensive.

(I keep telling him to get rid of that gas job and buy a real truck. )
