Diamond Aircraft now flying with turbodiesels

Diamond aircraft is now selling their DA42 twin engine airplane which flies between two 135 h. p Thielert turbo diesel engines. Max cruise is 164 knots (188 mph). Fuel flow at max cruise is 14. 3 g. p. h total. Recommended engine life is currently 1000 hours but expected to be 2400 hours before any current engine reaches 1000 hours.
